Family Prayer and Baby Talk

3 years ago Ger and I had "family prayer", which consisted of Ger rambling something I didn't understand in Spanish while I prayed the way that I knew how.
Now we have real family prayer.
We pray with senserity and with honesty.
We talk with our Heavenly Father and know that He is listening.
I am so grateful that Ger and I feel the same way about the gospel.

I'm so grateful for the power of prayer.
We pray every day to ask if Ger is coming home.
Many times I don't get an answer, but there has been a couple times that I feel that lightness in my heart.  The devil is strong and constantly gives us both doubt.
It is a scary thing.
My mind goes crazy when I feel that doubt.
I'm grateful to know that the devil gives me doubt and the Lord gives me assurance.
With that assurance I can remember those few times I received an answer.

Dylan prays with us most nights.
He's going through a weird bossy phase so sometimes he says, "no Heavenly Father, just amen!"
Whatever that means.

I love when he prays.
This is how most of his prayers go...
"Heavenly Father,
thank you for mom, dad, nana.....
amen"

Love that kid.
Thinking we want another one....

Dylan truly is my miracle.

I feel in my heart that we should have more children, I just don't know when.

May is Almost Here

7 weeks until graduation
I am so ready to be done with school and so sad at the same time
I love the friends I've made and I hope that we remain close

I am so nervous that I won't pass the NCLEX
I'm sure everyone feels that way, but seriously I will probably be the one person from our class that doesn't pass
I need to stop that...positive thought....positive thoughts

When I do pass the NCLEX (see, I'm starting to think positive already), I want to work at Huntsman, like really bad

The unit manager on the 5th floor offered me a job!!!  (I think...)
She said, "you are going to work here....aren't you"
me:  "uh ya"
her:  "good"
That's a compliment and  kind of an offer right?
I emailed her my resume and she replied,
"Thank you for the resume!  Give me a jingle when you pass your boards!"
She used exclamation points and everything
That's a job offer right????
Ahhh I would be so happy if Ger were to come home and we could have more babies and I could have my dream job

stupid immigration...

We are still waiting to hear when Ger's appointment will be
I had a dream that it was June 1st
Nothing ever happens quickly with immigration but they should SERIOUSLY hurry up!
Little Laura called us today (I'm in Mexico for spring break) and it was so sad to hear her little voice say, "Cwis, I miss my dad so much"
She graduates June 5th, which is CRAZY
She is still so sweet and innocent
I'm worried about what she will do without school to keep her busy
I wish her mom would trust me to take her on the weekends
I miss her so much

Wish us luck friends
I feel it in my heart that good things are going to happen
I know why Ger has been in Mexico and I am actually grateful for this trial
Because he was away from us for 2 years, we can soon be together for eternity

So... we've learned a lot of lessons
Our faith has grown
Our family has been strengthened
And our love for each other has grown ten-fold
Can he come home now?
