I should be studying for the dreaded ATI but I just can't! I know I'm not going to get the best score in the world no matter what I do. I know I'll have to re-take it at the end of the semester and...I'm ok with that! So I shall blog:)
Here's what's new:
1. My amazing husband is going to bless the sacrament for his first time ever on Sunday! I am so proud of him and still so amazed at the power of prayer
2. Dylan got a "big boy" bunk bed and he has actually been sleeping in his room! (I may or may not have stayed in his bed with him the first few nights)
3. I started my very last semester of school EVER
4. We reapplied for Ger's Visa (prayers our way, pretty please)
5. My dad and sisters saw Ger for the first time in 2 years!
Speaking of which, I have not blogged about our trip to La Paloma!
Here we go
A few days after Christmas my family flew to San Diego and crossed the border to La Paloma to come see Ger. Ger, Dylan and I flew from Guadalajara to Tijuana and met them in La Paloma. It was a scary thing to think about my family crossing the border without Ger but they all made it without getting kidnapped.
We were the last to arrive so I knocked on the door at the condo and my dad answered the door. He was relieved to see Dylan and I but he noticed Ger was not with us and asked, "Um where's my son?" I said, "he didn't come...."
"What!!??"
"Just kidding, he's right here!!!"

I know this picture is heartbreaking but my dad has been so much happier since this trip. I think he just needed to see that Ger was ok.
The week we spent in La Paloma was like a dream.
Ger cooked the most amazing meals for our family and all we did was simply spend time together.
Yummy!!!!
We didn't make any plans for this trip. We simply wanted to spend time together.
