9 Months Later

Exactly 9 months later, Dylan Gerardo Garcia was born. I went into the hospital Friday evening and they sent me home because I had not progressed enough. A few hours later, we went back and they told me the same thing! So we walked around the hospital for what seemed like an eternity and still...NOTHIN! Saturday evening I was finally admitted and given drugs. Yeah for epidurals!!!
Dylan was born at 1:15am on Valentine’s Day. He weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Once I looked into his beautiful eyes, I forgot all about those pains of labor. He is absolutely perfect!! No words can describe the feeling of becoming a parent it is so awesome! We are so happy and feel so blessed.

Well we had to join the trend now that we have a baby! So, here is our story… Gerardo and I met 5 years ago at work. We were both taking our lunch break outside and I offered him the toy in my happy meal. It felt so natural to be with each other and we hit it off right away. We dated for about 4 years before he FINALLY popped the question.
